Here's how to get a clean A4 printout of your downloaded coloring pages at home.
Printing at home
- Open the downloaded “A4 PDF” file in a PDF viewer (Preview, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc.)
- Set the paper size to “A4” in your print settings
- Choose “Actual size” or “100%” for scaling (avoid “Fit to page,” which can shift the line positions and margins)
- If your printer supports borderless printing, turning it on gives a cleaner result

Which should I use to print, PDF or PNG?
We recommend the “A4 PDF” file. It includes paper size and margin information, so it prints at the intended size on most home printers. Use the PNG if you want to edit the image in photo or image-editing software.
Can I scale the image up or down when printing?
We recommend printing without scaling (“Actual size” or “100%”). Automatic “fit to page” scaling can shift the line thickness and margins.
Should I print in black and white or color?
Since our coloring pages are black outline line art, black-and-white (monochrome) printing works great and saves ink.
My printer doesn't have an A4 setting — can I use Letter size instead?
Yes. The design will print slightly smaller with a bit more margin, but it will still print and color just fine.
